The rules of professional conduct for Legal Practitioners 2007 provides for continuing professional Development of a legal practitioner. If opportune to attend this NBA AGC, it will serve as a means through which I’ll fulfill the provisions of the rule.
Being the first conference I’ll attend as a lawyer, it will give me the opportunity to meet the eminent members of the legal profession and learn one or two things from them.
As a new wig, job opportunities abound as I may be fortunate to meet a senior colleague who is willing to recruit.
It will afford me the opportunity to meet the guest speakers and resource persons, learn from their personalities and benefit from their lectures and ideas.
Lastly, it is a great opportunity for me to meet my University mates and Nigerian Law School mates whom I may not meet elsewhere in life other than the NBA conference.
