The Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has called on members of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) to submit memoranda, information and/or opinions on the proposed review of the remuneration of public, political and judicial office holders in the country.
In a statement released by the NBA, it said the process of an upward review of the salaries and allowances of judicial officers is in progress.
It consequently asked that the memoranda, information and/or opinions to be sent to the President through; grace.igyo@nigerianbar.org.ng by close of work on Friday, 2nd December 2022.

The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mr. Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, OON, SAN has been at the forefront of the campaign for better remuneration of Nigerian judicial officers. Following this campaign, a process is ongoing for an upward review of the salaries and allowances of judicial officers.
Consequently, the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) requests memoranda, information and/or opinions from members of the NBA with respect to the remuneration of public, political and judicial office holders in the country.
Members are by this Notice, requested to send in their memoranda, information and/or opinions with particular respect to the remuneration of judicial officers.
The memoranda, information and/or opinions are to be sent to the President through; grace.igyo@nigerianbar.org.ng. All communications in this regard must be sent in by close of work on Friday, 2nd December 2022.
