The International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), Lagos State Branch has elected Mrs Chinwe Efobi as its new Chairperson.
Mrs. Efobi was elected alongside seven other as members of the new Executives of FIDA branch for the 2021-2024 period. The members of the new Exco are: Mrs. Abimbola Oladugba Jack – Vice Chairperson, Mrs.Fowoke Ayo- Ponle – Secretary, Miss. Ganiyat Adisa – Assistant Secretary and Mrs. Ifeyinwa Uzokwe – Treasurer.
Others are Mrs. Nkem Ezeakunne- Financial Secretary, Mrs. Chika Okolie – Public Relations Officer and Mrs. Akinwande- Welfare Officer.
At the inauguration and swearing in ceremony which was held shortly after the election, the new Exco pledged to uphold the mission, aims and objectives of the Association, while ensuring peace, love and unity amongst the members.
The inauguration activities were concluded with a thanksgiving service held at The Anglican Church of the Messiah, Okota, Lagos on January 16 , 2022 to usher in the new administration.
