In a recent gazette released by Ogaga Emoghwanne, Esq, current serving secretary, NBA National Welfare Committee. He stated that there are indications that the full benefits of the NBA-Law pavilion partnership have not been explored by members.
This revelation came to light during the technical session on the Law Pavilion/Primsol partnership during the just concluded Young Lawyers Summit. A situation where only about 7,942 Lawyers is said to have on-boarded as at 4th of October, 2021 certainly leaves much to be desired.
He further stated that, for a partnership billed to lapse on the 6th of October, 2022 the collective need to latch onto the opportunities provided by same, cannot be overemphasized. The place of research and learning in the work of any lawyer cannot be overstated. Indeed, a lawyer is as good as how much he is able to find the Law and deploy it in the interest of his/her client.
He went further to praise the efforts of Olumide Akpata and how he has kept his promise to Nigerian Bar Association, on the night of his inauguration to leave the Bar better than he met it.
