The National Executive Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association has convened an Emergency meeting to deliberate on the current state of the Nation.
The notice of meeting signed by the General Secretary of the Association, Mrs Joyce Oduah, indicates that the meeting is scheduled to take place tomorrow, 22nd October, 2020 at 1:00pm Prompt.
The President of the NBA, Mr. Olumide Akpata had in an earlier Press Statement on the killing of peaceful #ENDSARS protesters, intimated that an emergency meeting of the National Executive Committee will be convened to review the state of the Nation and to deliberate on steps to prevent the Nation from going further adrift.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Emergency NEC Meeting is strictly for statutory NEC members as follows.
