Justice Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem would on Friday, 19th June, 2020 be sworn in as the substantive President of the Nigerian Court of Appeal
Justice Dongban Mensem became the Acting President of the Court of Appeal on March 6, 2020, when the past President Hon. Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa, statutorily retired from service.
Justice Dongban-Mensem’s appointment was confirmed after a successful screening by the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters chaired by Senator Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele.
She would become the 7th President of the Court of Appeal.
