Following the nomination of Her Lordship, Honourable Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem for confirmation as the President of the Court of Appeal by President Buhari, My Lord was before the Senate Committee for screening. A write up published by the Court of Appeal on its official facebook page presented a heartwarming report of what transpired during the screening. It said:
“When God says Yes, HE makes those who are to screen you turn to your prayer worrior. Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem, was screened Wednesday by the Senate committee in the national assembly. With a very rich CV, what else….she was asked to take a bow.
All of them prayed for her success.”
Justice Dongban-Mensem has been the President of the Court of Appeal in acting capacity following the retirement of Justice Bulkachuwa.
