The first female President of the Oyo State Customary Court of Appeal, Justice Eni Esan has been sworn-in into office.
The swearing-in ceremony performed at the executive chambers of the Governor’s Office, Secretariat Ibadan, was overseen by the governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
In his address, Governor Ajimobi urged Justice Esan to consolidate on the good works of the pioneer president of the court, Justice Solomon Akinteye who retired earlier this year.
The governor expressed optimism that Justice Esan’s wealth of experience would stand her in good stead to run the affairs of the State Customary Court of Appeal.
The new president, Oyo State Customary Court of Appeal, Justice Eni Esan promised to restore the lost glory of the court.
Present at the ceremony were the Chief Judge of Oyo State, Justice Munta Abimbola and other members of the bench and bar profession.
