Faculty of Law, Lagos State University (LASULaw) and indeed the legal profession in Nigeria lost one of its finest to the cold hands of death. Lateef Amosu popularly called LA by friends and contemporaries is a very amiable, gentle and beautiful soul who had a smile for everyone. His demise came as a rude shock to many of us who knew him from university days.
A graduate of Law from Lagos State University, LA has been in active legal practice and was just beginning to carve a niche for himself in the profession. LA heard of the demise of his father and went into shock and never recovered.
For his family and friends, LA may be too young to die but only God knows the best.
Our consolation is that he was God fearing, kind hearted and had a smile for everyone who has ever come across him.
We pray that his shortcomings be forgiven by the Almighty God.
Rest in Peace LA! We miss you and we truly mourn your demise!
