Planning for the 2018 Nigerian Bar Association Annual Conference may have suffered a major set back as unconfirmed report reaching us reveals that the Chairman of teh Technical Committee on the Conference Planning (TCCP) Prof. Konyinsola Ajayi SAN may have resigned from the Committee.
There seem to be conflicting reports on the actual reason for the sudden withdrawal of the Learned Silk from the Committee which was inaugurated exactly one month ago
The NBA President Mr. A.B Mahmoud SAN had inaugurated the 30 member TCCP for the 2018 NBA Annual Conference with a charge to ensure that the 2018 NBA Conference consolidates on the flaws of the 2017 conference. Prof. Koyin Ajayi SAN while accepting the task promised that the Committee would meet the President’s expectation.
It would be recalled that Konyin was also the Chairman of the 2017 NBA Conference Planning Committee. a Conference which was adjudged world class. The withdrawal of the learned silk would definitely impact negatively on the Conference planning which is already in top gears.
