A  proposed bill for the repeal of the   Legal Practitioners Act Cap C11 LFN 2004 and all amendments thereto; Legal Education (Consolidation etc,) Act Cap. L10 LFN 2004 and enact the Legal Profession Regulation Act which shall regulate the legal profession is set to be presented before the National Assembly. The Bill which proposes a consolidation of sundry  legal practice laws has several innovative provisions which would impact positively on the legal profession in Nigeria.
