Respite may be underway for lawyers as the NBA President Mr. A.B Mahmoud SAN has summoned the 2017 Annual General Conference TCCP over the challenges being faced by lawyers trying to register for the 2017 Conference.
In a statement issued by the NBA General Secretary, Mr. Isiaka Olagunju, the NBA President apologized to lawyers and enjoined them to bear with the executives.

Our dear colleagues,
I bring you warm greetings from the President of the NBA, A.B. Mahmoud OON, SAN. The President and the entire National Officers with TCCP members appreciate the challenges being faced by our members in order to register for the 2017 Conference.
Please be informed that as a result of these unfortunate developments, the President has summoned the members of TCCP to a crucial emergency meeting tomorrow where all these concerns will be adequately and positively addressed.
President of NBA enjoins all to bear with us until all the challenges are fully addressed.
We sincerely apologize for all inconveniences.

Recall that there has been wide spread complaint over the numerous challenges being faced by members intending to register to attend the bar conference holding in August 2017 in Lagos.
It is hoped that this summon would resolve all the issues generated by some of the resolutions made by the TCCP which many see as being discriminatory against the majority.
