Yesterday, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) presented a new Code of Practice for Interactive Computer Service Platforms/Internet Intermediaries (Online Platforms).
In a press statement by its Head Corporate Affairs and External Relationship, Hadiza Umar, NITDA indicated that the code of practice which is already generating negative reactions from media stakeholders is ‘for further review and input’.
