Akunna Okey is a 23 years old lawyer who was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2019. According to her biography, she is a Corporate and Entertainment Lawyer who comes from a family where everyone has an amazing voice.
Akunna is among the 11 finalists in the sixth season of the foremost singing competition, Nigerian Idol which premiered on Sunday, March 28.
The show entered its final phase on Sunday, 2nd of May, 2021 with the conclusion of the Audition and Theatre phases.
Previously, this phase admits just ten contestants but considering how outstanding this year’s finalists have been, the judges decided to switch things up a little.
Akunna believes the world deserves to hear her sing and says it’s about time she commercialises her amazing gift.
