Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has sworn in Chinelo Chidubem Odili as a Judge in the Rivers State Judiciary.
Chinelo is a daughter of former Rivers Governor, Peter Odili, and top justice at the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Justice Mary Odili.
Recall that the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, had last month sworn in Chinelo’s elder sister, Njideka Nwosu Iheme as judge of the Federal High Court.
Justice Odili and three others were sworn in today as judges of the High Court of Rivers State at Government House, Port Harcourt.
The four new judges are Popnen Sylvester Sunday, Daketima, Gabriel Kio, Chinelo Chidubem Odili and Nsirim Chinwe Amanda.
Before their elevation, Justice Popnen S.Sunday and Justice Daketima G. Kio were both private legal practitioners, while Justice Nsirim and Chinelo C. Odili were Chief Magistrates.
