The Nigerian Law School has announced February 1 and 8 as resumption date for  the Bar Part 2 and Bar Part 1 Students respectively.

The above announcement which was made by the DG of the School, Prof. Isa Hayatu Chiroma SAN, is coming after the prolonged break caused by the Covid-19 pandemic which forced the Federal Government to close down all schools to reduce the spread of the virus. The earlier resumption date of January 4 and 11 were shelved on the heels of the second wave of the pandemic.

Meanwhile, the Law school has outlined the below measures to curb the likely spread of the virus on its various campuses across the country for the returning students:

  • Students must wear their face mask to gain entrance to the campus.
  • Each student is required to come with;
    a) face mask
    b) 2 bottles of 500ml of hand washing liquid which must be submitted at the Students’ Affairs Officers.
  • It is mandatory for students to wear face-mask on campus.
