Former Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Lagos Branch, Mr. Ikechukwu Uwanna has just been announced winner of the Chairmanship position in the just concluded general election of the Branch.
Mr. Uwanna is said to have polled 590 votes to defeat his closest contender, Mr. Anthony Atata who polled 186 votes. The 3rd contestant, Mr. Seth Amaefule polled 46 votes. Mr. Uwanna who won 71% of the valid vote count was declared winner of the poll.
Also emerging winner of the Secretarial position of the Branch is Ms Nta Ekpiken who polled 533 votes to defeat two other contenders; Shola Abiloye with 258 votes and James Sonde with 33 votes.
