The former General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mazi Afam Osigwe SAN, Dr. Babatunde Ajibade SAN and Uzoma Azikiwe, SAN have been confirmed as part of the legal luminaries and speakers who would grace the 2021 Law Week of the Nigerian Bar Association Asaba Branch.
The program which is scheduled to commence on Wednesday 1st will run through to Sunday 5th December, 2021.
With the theme, “Recalibrating the Nigerian Legal System for Effective Justice Delivery”, the speakers and discussants shall speak on topics touching on adequate budgetary provisions for the judiciary, Block chain and Fintech, Law Firm restructuring and many other stimulating topical issues.
The Keynote address shall be delivered by Mazi Afam Osigwe SAN while other legal luminaries shall speak on the various subjects during the plenary sessions.
In a statement by the Chairman of the Law Week Committee, Mr. Omamuzo Erebe who is the Acting Solicitor General of Delta State, the law week promises to be intellectually stimulating with other side events that will make members and attendees have a fulfilling experience.
The event shall also witness the commissioning of the NBA Asaba Branch Bar Centre and a Grand Dinner both scheduled to hold on 4th December, 2021.
A Thanksgiving Service on the 5th of December, 2021 shall wrap up the week long event.
