The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Suleja Branch Electoral Committee has published the list of Verified Candidates for the forthcoming Branch Election.
In a statement issued by the Secretary of the Election Committee G. U. GBADUME, Esq. The Committee received nominations from ten (10) Aspirants for various offices and at the close of the screening of nominations in accordance with the provisions of the NBA Bye – Law and the Guidelines for the elections made pursuant thereto. Seven (7) Aspirants were cleared to contest the elections, while three (3) Aspirants were disqualified for various reasons. He also noted that three (3) offices were without nominations.

7 Bala Tanko Maigaskiya, Esq. vying for: NEC REP
LIST OF DISQUALIFIED CANDIDATES
1. Bako Ibrahim Adamu, Esq. vying for: Chairman –
Reasons
– Caught up by Article 6(3) of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Uniform Bye-Law for Branches 2015 (as Amended).
– No evidence of payment of 2018 practicing fee.
– No evidence of payment of 2019 Branch due.
– No evidence of payment of Branch dues for the Two (2) recommending Counsel.
2.Abubukar Suleiman Danladi, Esq. vying for: Vice Chairman
Reason:
-No evidence of payment of nomination form.
-No evidence of payment of Branch dues and practicing fees for the 2nd recommending Counsel.
-No evidence of payment of Branch dues for the 1st recommending Counsel.
-No evidence of attendance of General Branch Meetings from 2018, 2019 and 2020.
3.Ezekude Blessing Chinwe, Esq. vying for: Treasurer
Reason:
-Post enrolment qualification requirement of Eight (8) years not met.
-No evidence of payment of Branch dues for Two (2) of the recommending counsel.
