On behalf of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the President – Mr. Olumide Akpata, congratulates all the Advocates and Academics who have just been shortlisted for admission into the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria by the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LPPC).
Their shortlisting for the revered and distinguished rank is a testament of their hard work over the years in enriching our legal jurisprudence, both in our courts and classrooms, and therefore, well deserved.
The NBA urges them to carry on in the good steps that distinguished them for the rank, and to continue to discharge their professional responsibilities in a manner that accords with promoting the rule of law, and deepening democracy in Nigeria.
The NBA also commends members of the LPPC for painstakingly discharging their responsibilities in spite of the peculiar challenges that this year’s process faced on account of the global pandemic. The NBA is equally grateful to the members of NBA General Purposes Committee for their hardwork in thoroughly screening the candidates and recommending them to the LPPC.
The NBA is hopeful that this batch of Silks will continue to justify the confidence that the profession has bestowed on them through this recognition.
