The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA)Lagos Branch has announced a temporary relocation of its branch secretariat from City Hall to 7th Floor, St. Nicolas House, by Catholic Mission Street, opposite City Hall, Lagos and 3rd Floor, 213, Igbosere Road, Lagos, besides old Law School building.
In the notice of relocation issued by the Secretary of the branch, Moshood Abiola, the relocation is as a result of the effect of the damage by suspected hoodlums during the recent unrest in Lagos state.
The notice reads in part;
“It will be recalled that the branch Secretariat at City hall was amongst several offices that were ransacked and vandalized by suspected hoodlums during the recent unrest in the state.”
“For stamp applications, collection of stamps, letters of good standing and branch dues receipts, members should please visit 3rd Floor, 213, Igbosere Road, Lagos, besides old Law School building whilst all other matters including the day to day operations of the Secretariat will be handled at 7th Floor, St. Nicolas House, by Catholic Mission Street, opposite City Hall, Lagos.”
“Covid 19 protocols are still very much applicable and members are advised to ensure they wear a face mask and observe social distancing while visiting the offices.”
