Unlike many Africa countries court unawares by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Chief Justice of Kenya ,Honourable Justice David Maraga had on the 4th of March, 2020 proactively issued a practice direction providing for electronic case management.
The practice direction presently enables Kenyans to file and serve processes electronically. It also allow courts to conduct proceedings via video conferencing as can be seen in photos below:
