PUBLIC NOTICE

This is to inform our esteemed customers and the general public that in line with our implementation plan for Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020, the Commission has upgraded its registration software to accommodate the changes introduced by the new law on existing entities. The upgrade will also enable all customers to do all post registration filings electronically.

Further to this, the Companies Registration Portal will not be available from the 28th December 2020 to 3rd January, 2021 to allow for seamless migration to the new platform.

All customers with pending applications should endeavour to conclude same on or before 27th of December, 2020, otherwise the customers should ensure that they print all documents uploaded under the current application as they may be required to present hard copies to the Commission for validation. The new software may, depending on the stage of the application allow for continuation of processing of pending applications in certain circumstances based on the new requirements enshrined in the CAMA 2020 and the Companies Regulation 2021.

The Commission will resume normal services on the new platform on 4th January, 2021 and all existing electronic accounts and log in access for accredited customers will remain valid until 31st March, 2021.

Accredited customers are therefore expected to revalidate their accreditation with the Commission on or before the 31st March, 2021.

A multimedia presentation on how to use the new software will be available on our website www.cac.gov.ng from 31st December, 2020.
