The Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (BOSAN) on Saturday 30th November, 2019. The Dinner BOSAN dinner is held yearly to formally welcome newly elevated Senior Advocates. During the 2019 dinner, 38 legal practitioners elevated to the rank of SAN in September, 2019 were welcomed to BOSAN.
Also, the 2019 dinner became a forum for the launching of the BOSAN Scholarship Scheme. During the launching, the sum of N500,000 each was presented to the winners of the 2019 maiden edition of the BOSAN Scholarship.
Incidentally too, the five winners of the scholarship who were drawn from various law faculties in Nigeria through a very regorous exercise were all female.
The winners are: Bukola Fatimat Alada from the University of Ibadan; Comfort Nguher from University of Jos; Chioma E. Echebiri from Babcock University; Unyime Anieti Akpan from Afe Babalola University and Olajumoke Janet Sorungbe from the University of Lagos.
