The newly appointed President of the Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN) Mr. Emmanuel Eze Nwobodo has affirmed his commitment towards ensuring a unified front for Law Students in particular and the entire Nigerian Students.
Mr. Nwobodo revealed this during the launching of the LAWSAN Presidential Forum (LPF) recently. In his words;
“I have countlessly reaffirmed my will to work towards national unity through the active involvement of every lawsan chapter. “
“Following from this, we have launched the LAWSAN PRESIDENT FORUM(LPF) a forum meant to strengthen our bond as members of a single cause, so we may be able to consolidate our strengths and put up a more effective front towards achieving our shared goals. Through this forum, we have the means to amplify the voices of all LAWSAN Chapters to its maximum, for the benefit of the commonwealth.”
“The LPF is an initiative designed to strengthen national cohesion between The National Body and all LAWSA/LSS Chapter Presidents, and it is set aside exclusive for only presidents of various LAWSAN chapters alone. I welcome you all. May tonight mark the beginning of a new era; one hallmarked by comity, excellence and the shared pursuit of success. And may those who come after us know that, truly, this was our finest moment.”
In another development, the President has also appointed six cabinet members from the various law faculties in the university.
