Law Students Association Kicks Off Campaign Tagged: “LAWSAN Goes To School”

The Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN) the umbrella body of all law students in Nigeria has commenced a campaign tagged “LAWSAN Goes to School.

The campaign which is aimed at creating awareness in Secondary Schools on “what the law is not… bringing the law home” targets for starters, a visit to 50 Secondary Schools in the South East.

“”With this campaign, a lot of myth surrounding what the law is and what’s not will be tackled, as every secondary school student will be intimated on the need to know the law and have a copy of the constitution!” he stated.

According to the President of the Law Students Body, Mr Emmanuel Eze Nwobodo, the campaign is part of LAWSAN’s corporate social responsibility which is premised on its understanding of the need to give back to society!

“As part of our value infrastructure agenda, The Directorate of Policies, Programs and Projects (South-East Zone) will be engaging on a campaign tagged “LAWSAN GOES TO SCHOOL” “The essence of this campaign is to visit 50 secondary schools in the South-East and champion an awareness entitled “WHAT THE LAW IS NOT… BRINGING THE LAW HOME”, Mr. Nwobodo stated.

speaking further, he urged all law students to join hand and become involved in the campaign.
