About 1,800 brand new and upgraded mediators will be inducted into the membership of the Institute as Associate Members, Full Members and Fellows.
ICMC is the professional body of Practitioners in Nigeria. It regulates the practice of Mediation and Conciliation in Nigeria, trains prospective candidates, and encourages organizations and institutions to adopt Mediation as primary mechanism for addressing disputes.
We organize both local and international training programmes.
Mediation skills are life-skills for building and sustaining relationships and for assisting disputing parties in an assured, confident and professional manner. Individuals with the skills can also deploy same in strengthening their own relationships, helping to build better families and by extension, better societies.
The theme for the 2018 ADR Conference is:
“The Mediation Dilemmas in Complex Emergencies: 2019 General Elections in Perspective”
The keynote speaker is Mr. Owei Lakemfa. Former Secretary General of the Organization of African Trade Union Unity (OATUU) – the umbrella organization of trade unions in Africa
Hon. Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa , President of the Court of Appeal and some other dignitaries are to be conferred with Fellowship of ICMC Nigeria during the ADR Conference
The ADR Conference will have in attendance, members of the Institute along with some invited Guests of Honour from the Government, National Assembly, Judiciary, Academia, Embassies, Nigerian Bar Association, organized private sector and ADR organizations.

The Conference/Induction Registration fees are as follows;
INDUCTION FEE
New Inductees (Fellows) – N50,000
New Inductees (Full Members) – N30,000
New Inductees (Associate Members) – N20,000
Guests – N10,000/per guest
CONFERENCE FEE
- Non Members – N10,000
- Members – N7,500
iii. The ADR conference is free and mandatory for inductees as a pre-requisite for induction
