The ideal situation is that an Individual attains greatness from one mode. However it is uncommon, unusual and very extraordinary for an Individual to satisfy the triumvirate of Shakespeare’s ideals of greatness.
When a Lawyer has a Father who is a Judge and a Queens Counsel, he has by that premise satisfied the first of the trilogy, He is born great. If a Lawyer by sheer industry worked very hard as an Advocate, contributed to several locus classicus that has shaped the jurisprudence, aiding practice and research, he has achieved greatness. A Lawyer who took over a promising law firm set up several decades prior to his call, maintained that tradition, took the firm to greater heights beyond where he met it , has greatness bestowed on him.
