Chief Ogwu James Onoja is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and Notary Public of Nigeria with over 21 years experience in litigation and corporate practice. He is the Principal Partner, O.J. Onoja & Associates, a thriving law firm in Abuja.
He obtained his LLB (Hons) from the University of Jos in 1990 and his BL from the Nigerian Law School in 1991. He obtained his LLM from the University of Lagos in 1997. His PGDM and MBA were obtained from the University of Calabar 2000-2002. He is a writer and publisher of law text books especially practice books, namely 1. Supreme Court Rules: Practice and Procedure (2010) 2. Court of Appeal Rules: Practice and Procedure (2010) and 3. Federal High Court Rules: Practice and Procedure, volumes 1 and 2 (2012).
Chief Onoja SAN is a chartered Arbitrator (MCIArb), a member of the Chartered Institute of Management (MNIM), Chartered Cost Management (ACCM), Fellow of the Institute of Directors (FIoD), a certified member of the Nigerian capital market as well as franchise consultant.
