The Lagos State Government has filed fresh charges against suspected Kidnap Kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, popularly known as Evans.
One of the charges has seven counts of conspiracy and the attempted kidnap of the Chairman of “The Young Shall Grow Motors”, Mr Vincent Amaechi Obianodo.
Of the seven counts, two of the charges are for the murder of the policemen attached to Mr Obianodo while in another four counts also filed against the kidnap suspect, Evans was alleged to have conspired with some others to kidnap one Sylvanus Hafia.
It was gathered that both charges are pending before Justice Oloruntoyin Taiwo of the Lagos High Court whom Evans would be arraigned on Monday, October 23.
The suspect had been re-arraigned on Thursday alongside five others on an amended two counts of conspiracy and kidnap of one Dunu Donatus.
The offence was said to have been committed in the Ilupeju area of Lagos between February and April 2017.
