The ₦20,000,000 (Twenty Million Naira) suit  for copyright infringement against Nigerian Musician Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu (a.ka.Burna Boy) has been assigned to Hon. Justice Olayinka Faji of the Federal High Court Lagos and has been slated for hearing on 6th July, 2017.

The Plaintiff’s application to serve Defendant (Burna Boy) by substituted means would be heard. If same is granted, the originating processes would be served on the Defendant by pasting same at his last known address.

It would be recalled that the Plaintiffs had earlier indicated that they have not been able to serve the originating processes on the musician necessitating an ex-parte application for service by substituted means.

Burna Boy is being sued by Insecta Limited  for copy right infringement on its artistic work.
